• Morgan County War Memorial Hospital Medical Executive Committee will meet Tuesday, February 2 at 1 p.m. at War Memorial Hospital for its regular monthly meeting. The meeting agenda is available in the administration office at the hospital during regular business hours.
• FAT Facts for Heart Healthy Eating will be offered Monday, February 8 at 4:30 p.m. at War Memorial Hospital’s Center for Rehab & Wellness. Registered Dietitian Sara Kuykendall, MBA, RD, LD, will discuss which fats are best for your heart. For more information or to register, call 304-258-8377.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers Course will be offered on Tuesday, February 9 from noon to 4 p.m. at War Memorial Hospital. The course is designed for licensed healthcare providers who need to obtain or renew their CPR certification. Fee is $40. Class size is limited so advance registration is required. • Heart Attack Risk Program will be offered on Thursday, February 18 from
  8-11 a.m. at War Memorial Hospital. Individuals will be screened for key risk factors for heart disease --- including total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol/HDL ratio, triglycerides, blood glucose, blood pressure, body weight/body mass index, and smoking. The screening fee is $15. The screening process takes approximately 20 minutes so appointments are necessary, and participants must fast for 12 hours prior to their appointment. • Morgan County War Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will meet Thursday, February 18 at 9:30 a.m. at War Memorial Hospital. The Auxiliary conducts service and fundraising projects to benefit patient care and the betterment of the hospital. For more information, call Selma Straus at 304-258-8716.
• Morgan County War Memorial Hospital Medical Staff will meet Friday, February 19 at 8 a.m. at War Memorial Hospital for its regular monthly meeting. The meeting agenda is available in the administration office at the hospital during regular business hours.
• Morgan County War Memorial Hospital Board of Directors will meet Tuesday, February 23 at 5 p.m. at War Memorial Hospital for its regular monthly board meeting. The meeting agenda is available in the administration office at the hospital during regular business hours.
• Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED Training Course will be offered on Thursday, February 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at War Memorial Hospital. The course is designed for laypersons, especially those in a workplace setting. Fee is $40. Class size is limited to six people so advance registration is required.
